Getting Things Off Mt Chest is Winner of the 2014 USA Best Book Award for Cancer Topics

What an honor for a first book to receive two national book awards! My goal withthis book was to help women stay focused and confident at a time when it feels like cancer is taking over their lives. Winning these awards is bittersweet: It took having breast cancer myself and losing a dear friend to cancerto give me the experience and inspiration to writeGetting Things Off My Chest,” I am continually touched by the thank you letters from the women who have read my book. Knowing my book is helping women and boosting their self esteem at a critical time isthe ultimate reward. Now if we can just find a cure for breast cancer!
